VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Bill L. Rhodes 74 of Suffield went to his heavenly home on Thursday March 3 2005 with his family at his side. Born in Akron the son of the late Orville and Nola Rhodes he spent his youth in Elkins WV. Bill was a gentle caring and giving man no wife was given more love than Maggie and no children were such a source of pride as Tom Dave and Amy. He loved Lisa's and even more when they presented him with his beloved grandsons. He cherished his time with family friends and antique tractors. Bill is survived by his loving wife Maggie children Tom (Lisa) David (Lisa) and Amy grand sons Thomas and Gabriel sister Kitty (Stanley) Waybright sister-in-law Penny (Bob) Lake and special friends Wayne and Marie Schoonover. He is also survived by many loving nieces nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday March 6 2005 at the Hummel Funeral Homes 500 E. Exchange St. in Akron with Rev. Brian Schoonover officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 PM until the time of the service at 3 PM. A special thanks to his care givers and Dr. Joseph Pietrolungo. In lieu of Flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the MS Society.
