Betty Snavely

The Lord called home one of His angels, Betty Snavely, 92, on Sunday August 9, 2015 after a long battle with Alzheimers. She was born in Bradford, Ohio to Elmer and Esther Morgan. She was a member of First Christian Church of Wadsworth. Betty was preceded in death by parents; sisters Helen Pipenger, Pauline Nichols, Maxine Stone; son Robert Snavely, Jr. She is survived by husband of 69 years Robert Sr.; daughter and son-in-law Beverly and Marvin Matyasi Sr.; sisters Geraldine Millie, Joanne (Ralph) Long; grandchildren Laura, Bobby, Marvin Jr., Tim, Nicole; great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. As per Betty's request there will be no service, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Greater East Ohio Area Chapter of the Alzheimer Association, 70 W.
