Betty Raw

Betty Jane Raw, 98, born in Akron to Clair and Alice (Pauley) Baxter, went to sleep on Dec. 26th. She is preceded in death by her husband Carl, her parents, 4 siblings, and her daughter and son in law Karla and George Crabtree . She is survived by her daughter Jennifer (David) Kimes, granddaughters Gigi (Tony) Miller, Lori (Jim) Steiner, and Leah (Jonny) Sheppard. Nine great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.Baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1939, she lived her life for Jehovah and was determined to teach others about him. She loved to travel with her friends and explored many places. She lived a long life and would want everyone to think of the resurrection hope. Memorial services wil be held Saturday Jan. 5th at 3p.m. Kent Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses 1625 Athena Dr, Kent, OH 44240
