Betty Phares

Betty Phares 80 of Copley passed away suddenly on Sunday February 17 2013. Betty was born in Akron to the late William and Emma Comber. She was a graduate of Juilliard School of Arts. After retiring as Warehouse Distribution Manager for A. Schulman Inc. Betty opened and operated her art gallery 'Walk on the Wild Side' for 15 years. For the past ten years she worked at Infocision helping support her daughter and two grandsons retiring at 80. Betty is preceded in death by her husband L. Dale Phares. She will be missed by her children Bill (Becky) Phares Nancy Holbrook Brett (Joy) Phares; grandchildren Mick Kevan Erika Dale C.J. Connor and Cole; 4 great grandchildren and many friends. Above all Betty was dedicated to her family and showed continuous support to her last day. She was a selfless person who loved her family unconditionally. Visitation will be held TODAY February 20 2013 from 5-7 PM at the Hummel Funeral Home 3475 Copley Rd. Copley. Funeral services will take place on Thursday February 21 2013 1 PM at the Hummel Funeral Home.
