VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Betty Phares - Sept. 5 1947 - February 24 2006 - fought and lost a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Elkin's West Virginia and lived in Akron since a small child. She enjoyed many activities such as reading craft show's and spending time with her family. She was a loving mother daughter and sister. She worked the past 10 years for Walgreen's and before that she worked at Twin Valu the entire time it was open. She will join her late father Robert Phares in heaven along with many other relatives. She is survived by her mother Nellie Phares (Late Robert) Daughter Melissa Son Jason Clute Brother's Robert Jr (Kathy -special sister in law) Kenneth (Zella) Sister's Beverly Brock (Zack) and Starla Collins (Marvin). And many loved cousin's niece's and nephew's. ''May God help her find the peace in heaven that eluded her on earth'' Funeral Services Wednesday March 1 2006 at 11:00 AM at Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St. Akron OH 44304. Interment in the Copley Cemetery with Becky Verbridge-Bowen officiating. Friends may call at the Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St. Akron on Tuesday from 5-8 PM.
