Betty Grigg

September 6, 1921 — July 6, 2010

Betty Jean Grigg (Nee Larsen) formerly of South Milwaukee Wisconsin passed away on July 6 2010 at the age of 88 after a long illness. Betty was born in Waukegan Illinois to the late Nicholas and Lena Larsen and there met the love of her life Richard 'Bob' Grigg in her church league. During their 55 years of marriage they moved to southern Wisconsin where they raised two children and traveled extensively golfing their way from coast to coast of the United States and seeing as much as they possibly could of the country they both loved. She spent the last five years of her life living near her son in Richfield Ohio but remained an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers. Preceded in death by her husband Bob in 2001 granddaughter Nicole in 1994 as well as her parents and all of her brothers and sisters. Betty is survived by son Richard (Joanne) Grigg of Richfield Ohio; daughter Carolyn (Eric) Craig of Minden Nevada; grandson Nicholas granddaughter Stephanie; step-grandsons Keith Woyach and Jeff (Victoria) Woyach; step great-grandchildren Breanna Kaleigh Serena and Alexis; and several nieces and nephews other relatives and friends. At Betty's request no services were held. Memorials in Betty's name can be made to your local Children's Hospital. The family would like to express a special thanks to the extraordinarily caring and devoted staff of The Village at St. Edward in Fairlawn Ohio to Dr. Scott McGee for his care and concern to the Visiting Nurse's Service of AGMC and to the Community Caregivers for their care and support.
