Bette Destro

Bette H. Destro 93 passed into eternity on Wednesday May 15. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Anthony L. Destro and devoted daughter Ann Marie Segedy. She is survived by her brother Anthony Destro; son-in-law Alan G. Segedy son Robert (Brenda) daughter Jeanne; grandchildren Jason (Colleen) Segedy Adrian (Kelley) Segedy Christian (Katie) Segedy Jesse Segedy Gina and Mark Destro; and great-grandchildren Emma and Benjamin Segedy and Gabe Loree. Born in Jamestown N.Y. to Colegero and Carmella Destro Bette was a lifelong resident of Akron; a devoted mother grandmother and great-grandmother; and an active 50-year member of St. Sebastian Parish and multiple Bible study groups. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Monday May 20 2013 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church 476 Mull Ave. Akron 44313. Family and friends may call at a reception to be held at Fr. Byrider Hall (located at St. Sebastian) immediately after the Mass. Private interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
