In Loving Memory Barbara Jean Parks December 16, 1943 – June 3, 2020 Barbara Jean Parks, 76, passed away on June 3, 2020, in Akron, Ohio, following a brief illness. Barbara was born in Ellwood City, Pa., on December 16, 1943. She is survived by her daughter Carla (Parks) Wooley, son-in-law Brian Wooley and granddaughter Jimi Wooley, all of Akron, as well as brothers Jim Biego, of Beaver Falls, Pa., and Mike and Ray Biego of Ellwood City, Pa. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Carl Parks, sister Frances Kramer and parents Leila and Joseph Biego. Barbara graduated from Lincoln High School in Ellwood City and worked as an administrative assistant and bookkeeper prior to retirement. She enjoyed playing her favorite slot machines at local casinos, traveling with family and playing games with her granddaughter. At Barbara's request, her remains have been cremated and no memorial service is planned. Arrangements were handled by Hummel Funeral Home.
