Annie Hrubik, 97, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 1, 2021. Born Annie Cipkar on September 19, 1924 in Glozan, Serbia, she immigrated to Ontario, Canada in 1935. She married Carl Hrubik in 1946 and the two raised their family and loved life together for 59 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a servant of God. She was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church for 70 years and retired from Copley-Fairlawn Schools with 35 years of service. Reunited with her husband Carl, son Jim, daughter-in-law Robyn, and grandson Jeremy, in death, she looked forward to seeing her family again in the presence of Jesus. She is survived by her children; sons John (Debbie), Tom (Lynn), and Chuck (Karla) Hrubik; daughter Sandi (Mark Novkov); daughter-in-law Violet Hrubik; 18 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren.
Friends may call Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 10 am at Lakeside Christian Church 3636 Knollwood Lane Bath, Ohio 44333. Funeral service to follow at 11 am. Burial at Copley Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to the church or Hospice Care Center, 3358 Ridgewood Rd. Akron, Ohio 44333.
