Anna Mostyn

Claire Mostyn 91 of Stow died November 6 2009 at Haven Homes. Claire was born on October 1 1918 in Osceola Mills PA. She moved to Akron and resided in the Goodyear Heights area. Claire served in the Navy for two years and then went to Akron City Hospital School of Nursing. She worked at Akron City Hospital as the Head Nurse in Nursery 2. She retired and then worked as a volunteer at Akron City Hospital. Claire was preceded in death by her sisters Delores Stanley Phyllis Seiler Marian Brewer and brothers Jack Maynard and Bill. She is survived by her extended family nieces Rosemary Lewis (Don) Anne Miller Caroline Lammlein (Joseph) and nephews John Stanley (Janet) Bill Stanley.along with many other nieces and nephews The family would like to also say a special thank you to the wonderful staff of Haven Homes. Because of their loving care and attention Aunt Claire's last five years were pleasurable and comfortable and for that we will be eternally grateful. Also a special thank you to the staff of Senior Independence Hospice. A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday November 11 2009 at 10AM at Annunciation Catholic Church 87 Broad Street Akron OH 44305. Interment of ashes in Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Annunciation Church.
