Ann A Sampson 89 of Munroe Falls passed away peacefully on Friday September 2 2011. She was born to Malcolm and Katherine Aldrich in Thomaston Connecticut in 1922. Ann was the eldest of five children. She graduated from Thomaston High School and Bryant College. In 1942 she married Robert Rumsey Sampson. They were married for 63 years and had seven children. In 1963 they moved from Wayland Mass. to Hudson Ohio. She enjoyed reading working on crossword puzzles and she was a sports fan. Most of all she loved being with her family particularly her 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert in 2005 and her brothers William and Malcolm. Her sisters Kay and Jean still live in CN and her seven children Kathleen Robert Martha Stephen Malcolm Curtis John and Barbara live in cities throughout the US. Ann was a true Yankee. Her family loved and appreciated her strength and sense of humor. During her last several years she was beautifully cared for at the Mulberry Gardens in Munroe Falls. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will take place at a later date.
