Angelene Bender

Angelene G. Bender 85 of Akron peacefully passed away on January 20 2011. She was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed gardening painting and knitting. Angelene was preceded in death by her loving husband William; brothers Frank and Crucian Riccardi. She is survived by her sons William M. Bender and Richard J. (Cindy) Bender of Phoenix AZ and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thanks special niece Lynn Fallon of Merrimack NH. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday January 26 2011 at 9:30 AM at St. Sebastian Catholic Church 476 Mull Ave. Procession will form at the church. Interment in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St. on Tuesday from 4-7 PM. Memorial donations may be made to St. Sebastian Parish Foundation.
