Andrew A. Koslowski, age 68, passed away peacefully at his home on Nov. 1, 2015. He was born on June 23, 1947 in Akron to the late Andy and Olga Koslowski. Andy was the director of the YMCA, Western Reserve Branch, retiring after 25 years of service. He was also an umpire with the Greater Akron Umpires Association for over 30 years. After retiring, he worked for the City of Stow as a floral gardener. Along with his wife, Karen (KC), Andy enjoyed camping, canoeing, hiking, and gardening. He loved their four basset hounds and participating in many basset rescue events. He finally fulfilled his dream of owning a log home surrounded by woods. Preceded in death by his brother, Bill; he is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Karen (KC) Koslowski-Cahoon; sister, Andrea (Glenn) Schneider; nephew, Todd (Maya) Schneider; brother-in-law, Gary (Peg) Cahoon and their children, Christopher (Tracy) Cahoon and Courtney (Dan) White. Karen would like to thank the staffs of Chapel Hill Community Nursing Home and Summa at Home for all of their loving care. Per Andy's wishes cremation has taken place.
