Amy Politz

Amy Politz (Hojfeldt) age 81 passed away Friday April 20 2012 and entered into eternal rest after a battle with Alzheimer's disease. Amy moved to the U.S. in 1952 from Copenhagen Denmark where she was born. She is preceded in death by her husband James S. Politz. Amy is survived by a large family that she loved dearly. Daughters Rita (Tim) Lance Margrethe (Fred) Stockdale Alice (Dave) Riggs Anita (George) Busey; grandchildren Kirsten Kiser Joey Joyner Clint Musser Mindi White Jaime Gerschutz Jacob and Jordan Stockdale and 12 great grandchildren. Amy loved music dancing and laughter. She will be dearly missed. Her family would like to express their gratitude to the wonderful and loving care that she received from Chapel Hill Community and Hospice of Medina. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends on Wednesday April 25 2012 from 4-6 PM at the Hummel Funeral Home 3475 Copley Rd. COPLEY.
