Alice Stiller

Alice F. Stiller 83 of Akron passed away on Monday November 4 2013. Alice was the beloved wife of Bill to whom she was married for 58 years. She was born in Sandusky in 1930 the youngest of six children to George and Matilda Faber. Alice worked as a registered nurse for 30 years 25 of those at Akron City Summa. She retired at 62. Alice is remembered and loved by all for her sweetness compassion and truly gentle nature. She dearly enjoyed her family and loved ones springtime and tending to her gardens. Alice is preceded in death by her parents and all of her siblings. She is survived by her husband Bill children: Donna (Mitch) Abbott Terri Stiller Patty (Steve) Timbrook; grandchildren Mike (Sara) Abbott Steve (Colleen) Abbott Greg (Alexis) Abbott Alanah Timbrook Haley Timbrook Mack Timbrook; and great-granddaughter Lucy Abbott and future great granddaughter Ryan Abbott. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Bath Manor and to Hospice of Summa. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday November 8 2013 at 11 AM at St. Paul's Catholic Church 1580 Brown St. Akron. Visitation will be held on Thursday November 7 2013 from 4-7 PM at the Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St. Akron 44304. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association 225 N.
