Alice Samarigan

Alice M. Samarigan 76 of Copley passed away August 27 2013 following a courageous battle with cancer. Alice was born in Akron to Lawrence and Emma Boss and lived most of her life in Copley. She retired from Copley Township where she worked as a fire and police dispatcher. She is preceded in death by her husband Henry in 2003 Alice is survived by daughter Lori; sons Michael (Nicole) and Kevin (Stacy); grandchildren Julie Valerie Jacob and Joe; brother Don (Susan) Boss. The family would like to extend a special thank you to her doctors; Esther Rehmus Roseline Okeke Blessing Godwin and the staff at Hospice of VNS for their kind and compassionate care. Visitation will be held on Thursday August 29 2013 from 4-7 PM at the Hummel Funeral home 3475 Copley Rd. Copley. Funeral services will take place on Friday 10AM at the Hummel funeral home. Interment in Copley Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of VNS 3358 Ridgewood Rd. Fairlawn 44333.
