Alfreda Ann Stimler (Hesse) 83 of Tallmadge passed away peacefully on July 14 2011. Freddie was born on March 14 1928 in Akron. She attended St. Bernard's Grade School and Sacred Heart Academy. She resided in Stow for 41 years and was a member of Holy Family Parish where she sang in the choir taught Sunday school and was a Girl Scout Leader. She was financial secretary of the German American Ladies Auxillary charter member and officer of the Stow Democratic Club Secretary of the Stow Sunshiners and volunteer with Akron Children's Hospital Charities. Freddie was employed by Ohio Bell Telephone Morgan Adhesives Summit County Clerk of Courts and Auditor's Offices. Alfreda was a wonderful mother grandmother and a devoted wife to William G. Stimler her husband of 61 years. Alfreda was preceded in death by son Richard William daughter Christina Ann and brother Carl Hesse. She is survived by her husband William; daughters Nancy (Robert) McManus Teresa (Dennis) Spohn Karen (Gary Cook) Hankins; sons William E. (Laurel) and Jeffrey (Mary); grandchildren Kate and Brian McManus Julie and Kellie Hankins Gregory and Geoffrey Stimler and Joseph Kyle and Zachary Stimler. Also surviving are her brother William (Phyllis) Hesse and sister Betty (Lee) May as well as many nieces nephews and friends. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday July 18 2011 10 AM at St. Eugene's Catholic Church 1821 Munroe Falls Ave Cuyahoga Falls. Family will receive friends following the Mass. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Eugene's Hunger Fund.
