A formidable athlete in his youth Al kept his love of sports alive through golfing bowling and fishing. His other passions included rooting for the Yankees and voting straight Democratic tickets. He will be fondly remembered by his family and the many honorary members at St. V-M. The family wishes to thank his doctors and the Hospice of Summa staff for their care. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday Aug. 4 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Vincent's Catholic Church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery to follow. After the burial family will receive friends and family at a memorial celebration at St. V-M Student Center 15 N. Maple ST Akron.
