Born in Akron Agnes lived in Brooklyn NY (1924-1940) and was an Akron resident until 1994 when she moved to Dublin Ohio. Agnes was active in Newman Mother's Club Women's City Club and.Hilliard Senior Center. She enjoyed bowling golfing bridge all her new friends and the kindest of neighbors in Columbus. She was a member of St. Joseph Melkite Church Akron and Holy Resurrection Columbus. She was preceded in death by brother Alfred Sawan. She leaves behind husband of 62 years Salem daughter Judith (Dan) Obermeyer (Copley) son Donn Cory (Dublin) granddaughter Kara (Steven) Saliba (Gahanna) and great-grandchildren that she adored Noah and Nadine sisters Florence Deeb Mahwah NJ Helen Sweidan Anaheim CA and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at St Joseph Melkite Church 600 W. Exchange Street on Friday at 11:00 AM. Remembrances may be made to St Jude Hospital (Memphis TN) or St Joseph Melkite Church.
