Agnes Bachmann

Agnes M. Bachmann 99 passed away October 19 2009. She had great devotion to the Blessed Mother and the Rosary. She was born in Alexandria Indiana to Joseph and Marie Gerhart on April 15 1910. At the age of 6 she moved to Akron where she was a life-long resident. She was in the first graduating class at St. Thomas Hospital School of Nursing in 1931. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Bachmann who died in 1990 and 10 brothers and sisters (Joe Fred Heini John Mary [Reymann] Martha Tony Lizzie Betsy and Rita). She is survived by son and daughter-in-law Robert L. and Sharon and daughter and son-in-law Genie and Ted Richardson; 4 grandchildren; 7 great- grandchildren; nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephews. Her family wishes to give special thanks to the loving caregivers at Rockynol Retirement Community and the Senior Independence Hospice. Friends and family may visit at St. Sebastian Church 476 Mull Ave. at 10:00 Friday October 23 2009. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 Friday at St. Sebastian Church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in her memory to either Father Francis Fugini Seraphic Mass Association Capuchin Mission Office 3600 Butler St. Pittsburgh PA 15201 or the Community Pregnancy Center 1058 Wooster Rd.
