Richard Wimer

Richard Wimer 65 of Norton passed away on September 10 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents Betty and Harry Wimer. Rich is survived by his wife of 30 years Patty; sons Marc (Elizabeth) Gross and Michael (Rhonda) Gross; grandchildren Taylor Page Nick and Robbie; and sisters Carolyn and Linda. Rich proudly served our country in the Army during Vietnam and was the recipient of numerous medals of honor. He was a dedicated 6th grade teacher and inspired many students throughout their lives. Rich lived life to the fullest he travelled and had a great love for his wife. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday September 17 2010 at Copley United Methodist Church 1518 S. Cleveland-Massillon Road. Interment in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery with Reverend Becki Bowan-Verbridge officiating. Friends may call at Hummel Funeral Home COPLEY 3475 Copley Road on Thursday September 16 from 5-8 PM.
