Nancy Clark

August 30, 1953 — March 9, 2006

VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Nancy Jean Clark 52 of Hudson passed away on March 9th 2006 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born August 30th 1953 in Pittsburgh Pa to George and Ruth Scarlett. She will be remembered for her practical approach to life and for making everyone around her a better person. She chose to stay at home to raise and support her family and her time and sacrifices will be forever remembered by those she left behind. Throughout her life she was known for being an excellent cook and her birthday cakes were themselves a cause for celebration. She spent her free time enjoying one of her favorite hobbies - watching the birds and feeding the animals that came from the woods behind her home. Most importantly she was also known as a loving and faithful wife and mother. After her diagnosis she made every effort to live her shortened life to the fullest realizing her life-long dream of traveling to Italy and taking a gondola ride through the canals of Venice. She also traveled to London Paris Yellowstone and the Grand Canyon and being a life-long Elvis fan to Graceland. The joy she felt at having accomplished her dreams is evident in the photographs and memories that her family will cherish forever. Nancy was preceded in death by her father George Scarlett; and her infant niece Princess Patterson. She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years Thomas A. Clark and son Matthew T. Clark of Hudson; her mother Ruth (Cain) Scarlett of Stow and her sister Lois Ann Patterson (David) of Hudson as well as many nieces and nephews. The family would especially like to thank Katie Griffin and Visiting Nurse Services for their wonderful and compassionate care in her final months. All services will be private at her request. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the charity of your choice.
