Michael Chevalier

Michael Chevalier 50 of Akron formerly of Jersey City NJ died August 23 2004 at Akron City Hospital after a brief illness and a courageous battle. Mike was preceded in death by his parents and brother William. He is survived by his children Michael Jr. Jessica and Joi Chevalier sisters Rita (Charlie) Eckhardt and his twin Michelle (Carmine) Apruzzese both of New Jersey brothers Edward (Rosemary) Chevalier of Canton and John (Pat) Chevalier of New Jersey. He is also survived by his former wife Renee Dobscha of Akron and many nieces and nephews. Mike was a grocer at Lakeview Market for over 25 years where he made many friends and appreciated their love and support. He was a devoted father who enjoyed watching all of his kids activities. Mike had a love for the game of golf and was known for always lending a ''handyman's'' helping hand. He enjoyed his visits back home with his family at the Jersey Shore. A special thank you to Dr. Erwin Maseelall for his special care. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday 10:00 am August 26 2004 at St. Bernards Church. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery.
