John Stickle

John V. Stickle went to be with the Lord Thursday October 12 2006. He was born December 9 1921 in Fombell PA. He was preceded in death by his parents Michael Elmer and Elsie Stickel and his brother William Stickle. John was a veteran of World War II retired from Local 219 Plumbers' Union and an active member and Elder of the Gospel Crusaders Church in Akron OH. His greatest virtue was that he was a Godly man who loved his family. He is survived by Freida nee Phy wife of 58 years: daughters Karen (Les) Martin Kathie (Bob) Mandi and Vickie (Michael) Gorsek; grandchildren David (Dana) Martin Daniel (Shelley) Martin Deborah (Dan) Scoggin Dallas Martin Joe Mandi Megan Mandi Kristin (Tristan) Prysock Gina Gorsek Tony Gorsek and Jesse Gorsek; great-grandchildren Mason Scoggin Payton Scoggin and Seth Martin; siblings Dorothy Lusk Evelyn Milligan and Tom Stickle. Friends and family may call at Hummel Funeral Home 3475 Copley Rd. COPLEY on Sunday October 15 2006 from 4-8 PM. Funeral Service will be Monday October 16 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
