Harry Morrow JR

Harry W. Morrow, Jr., age 61 of Akron passed away suddenly on March 25, 2014 while wintering in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He was preceded in death by parents Harry W. Morrow, Sr. and Katherine Ford Morrow and 'second parents' William and Clara Morrow. Harry was also preceded in death by sister Bev Gibson. Harry was born in Sewickley, PA on May 7, 1952 and was a graduate of Quaker Valley High School. After graduation he moved to Akron where he took classes at Akron University and started a career with Ohio Bell/ATT Phone Company where he worked until retirement in 2008. Survivors include brother Ken Morrow (Eileen); sister Stella Cline (John); brother Bill Morrow (Wendy) and brother-in-law Russ Gibson as well as many nieces and nephews. Harry is also survived by long time companion and best friend, Curtis Shelton. Harry will be deeply missed by the many wonderful family and friends he had in his life. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service to honor Harry's life will be held Saturday April 26 at 2:00 pm at the Hummel Funeral Home, 3475 Copley Rd., Copley, where the family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until the time of service.
