Yolanda Falk, age 96, died peacefully December 6, 2019. Born in Cleveland, Ohio to Berta and Antal Horvath, she was orphaned by age three and raised by relatives, but apart from her beloved sisters Bertha and Ann. After a brief courtship, she married Dan who soon enlisted in the Navy. They did not see each other for 2 1/2 years. Yolanda spent countless hours working for Jack and Heinz during the war, oftentimes being unable to use her ration coupons because stores were closed by the time she was off work. She was married for 63 years, raised four children Bonnie Myers (Fred deceased), Dan (Susan), Tom (Kathy) and Darlene (JIm) Berresford. Preceded in death by her husband; she is survived by her children; grandchildren, Jennifer, Beth, Tom and Christopher; great grandchildren Kelly, Branden and Freddie. Her children are grateful for the values she instilled in them along with her deep Catholic faith. We wish to thank the wonderful staff of The Village of St. Edward's for their excellent care of our mother. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00am Saturday, December 28 at The Village of St. Edward. Private interment to take place. Memorial donations may be made to the Village of St. Edward or the charity of your choice.
