Obituary of Marthella Roesner

Marthella J. Vanderbilt Roesner of Akron, passed away at Rockynol Retirement Community on October 3, 2017. Marthella was born on August 6, 1925 in Akron OH.

She was a member of Copley United Methodist Church since 1968.  Marthella worked at Goodyear Tire during WWII, also worked at polling booths for Board of Elections and was a wonderful homemaker, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was always busy with her hobbies of quilting, knitting and sewing.

She was preceded in death by her husband Walter F. Roesner; son Gregg S. Roesner and daughter Janet G. Roesner. She is survived by sons Mark W. (Nancy) Roesner and Ted E. Roesner of New Albany IN.; 5 grandchildren Joseph (Cory), Chrissy (Steve) Seyerle, Anna (Kyle) McCormick, Erin (Dustin) Korb and Emma Roesner; great grandchildren Ava and Olivia Seyerle

Private services will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Ohio Living Home Health and Hospice, 83 N. Miller Rd. Suite 101, Fairlawn, OH 44333.
