He was instrumental in the expansion of the highway and surrounding area of Route 8 in Cuyahoga Falls OH. George was a member of Akron’s Finest Vannited, a social van club that toured to patronize other van clubs throughout OH. This is when his handle “Hog Jaw” came to life. George loved to party and dance. He won numerous swing dance competitions while growing up as a young man. He also loved listening to music, especially the blues. During the summer months, George could be found at the softball field, watching the game, listening to the blues and selling moonshine.
