Our HISTORY
We at the Hummel Funeral Home, which has been serving
families in the Akron area for over 110 years, have expanded
our operations to include a Pet Services Division. We have
staffed our Pet Services with professional, knowledgeable,
pet owners and pet lovers. It has always been our tradition
to care. Now in the third and fourth generation, we give
complete service to every family that we serve. We
appreciate the trust and loyalty that many families have had
in us over the years and continue to strive to give every
family the best possible service. We hope that we can help
you or your family in your time of need. For more
information, see our web site at: |

Paul
A. Hummel III
President, Funeral Director
Growing up with
pets, I know how important they are to their
family. This inspired me to establish a pet
service that families in Northeast Ohio could
call and know that their beloved pet would be
handled with compassion and respect upon their
death. In 2006 I opened the first pet funeral
service, operated by a family owned funeral home
with over 100 years of funeral service to the
community. This has provided me the opportunity
to carry on our compassionate funeral
ministry to our pet families.
